What are we learning?
This year we will be working through different ‘Whole School Concepts’ to guide our learning, our current concept is ‘Relationships‘. We will be exploring our family tree’s, people who help us and what we like.
This will lead us to link and connect our learning to explore what our friends like and dislike and how similar we are.
The children will look to develop in all of the areas of learning and experiences (Expressive Arts; Health and Well-being; Humanities; Languages, Literacy and Communication; Mathematics and Numeracy; Science and Technology) within the theme.
How can I help at home?
Reading – Each pupil will bring home a reading book and reading record. Please try to read 2-3 times a week with your child and fill in their progress in the reading record.
